Our Fees 

This page applies to families booking private childcare places at Dottie Tots Nursery School. Private places are offered subject to availability and are governed by our Private Place Agreement.

Registration Fee 

A non-refundable registration fee of £125 is payable to secure a private childcare place once an offer has been made and accepted.

​

​Hourly Fees  

Our standard hourly rate is £9.38 per hour, calculated based on your agreed booking pattern. A personalised quotation is provided prior to a place being confirmed, and a full breakdown of fees is available on request. 

​

Additional Charges

The following charges apply where relevant:

  • Wraparound care: £12.00 per hour

  • Ad-hoc hours outside of booking pattern: £12.50 per hour

  • Late collection: £10 per 15 minutes (or part thereof)

  • Private weekly fee: £30.00

  • Lunch / hot meal (Kingsley): £3.50 per day

  • Afternoon tea: £2.50 per day

 

All charges are outlined in your quotation and detailed in our Private Place Agreement

Discounts

We offer the following discounts on standard booking patterns only:

  • 7.5% full-time discount

  • 10% sibling discount, applied to the eldest child when siblings attend together

  • 10% military discount (Kingsley nursery only)

 

Only one discount may be applied per family at any time. Discounts do not apply to additional or ad-hoc hours. All discounts are calculated monthly.

Payment of Fees

Fees are charged monthly in advance.

  • Invoices are issued around the 25th of each month

  • Payment is due within 7 working days of the invoice date

  • Payment can be made by BACS, standing order, or direct debit

  • Late payments may incur a £5 per day charge in line with our Private Place Agreement.

  • Fees remain payable during periods of absence, illness, holidays, Bank Holidays, or nursery closure days (including up to two staff training days per year).

Notice Period

To reduce hours or withdraw from a private childcare place, we require 12 weeks’ written notice, submitted by email to:

If notice is not provided, fees remain payable for the full notice period, as set out in our Private Place Agreement.

Childcare Payments

We accept payments via:

  • Tax-Free Childcare

  • Childcare vouchers (where supported by providers)
