Karen Burrows - Director
My passion for teaching began when I was a child and I have early memories about wanting to become an early years teacher.
Since then, I have been busy making my dreams become a reality. After graduating at the University of Chichester in 2006, I have applied my knowledge and skills within a range of early years settings including the classroom, Dottie Tots childminding and setting up two new village nursery schools. I am a passionate and dedicated to providing exceptional environments for all children. I consistently drive for the highest standards which underpin my early years practice and the culture within Dottie Tots Nursery Schools' today.

Sarah Harvey - Head of Nurseries
Sarah has an extensive background in early years with her previous 21 years based at Alton School, where she began her early years career and has progressed into the role of Nursery Director. She has successfully led a team of 25 employees to oversee all operational and regulatory aspects of this well established and oversubscribed nursery school.
She has been fundamental in the achievement of four ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED gradings, with Sarah managing and leading the last two inspections. Sarah holds a Batchelor of Arts in Childhood and Youth Studies and has completed Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) at the University of Portsmouth.
Sarah’s key duties involve mentoring and supporting each of the managers with the day to day running of the nurseries, where she provides complete operational support and work with the managers to ensure that all regulatory requirements are being met, to ultimately ensure that we are consistently driving for the best possible outcomes for each and every child and will be a key player in the ongoing success of our nursery schools.
