Operational Hours and Closures

Opening Times

Our Bentley and Kingsley nurseries are open Monday to Friday, from 7.30am until 6.00pm, for 51 weeks of the year.

Children attend during their agreed booked hours and should be collected by the end of their session. If you are going to be delayed, please contact the nursery as soon as possible. Late collection charges may apply.

Christmas Closure

Both nurseries close for one week between Christmas and New Year. We confirm the dates to families in advance each year, and no fees are charged for this closure period.

Bank Holidays and Training Days

Our nurseries are closed on Bank Holidays, with normal fees continuing to apply where these fall on a child’s usual day.

We may also close for up to two staff training days each year. These days support our team’s ongoing professional development and help us maintain the highest standards of care and education. Normal fees apply, and we provide families with at least two months’ notice wherever possible.

Unplanned Closures

Very occasionally, circumstances beyond our control may mean that we are unable to open or need to close early. This could include severe weather, flooding, fire, loss of essential services, a public health emergency or another situation affecting the safety of our children and team.

We will always make every reasonable effort to remain open safely and will keep families informed as soon as possible.

Normal fees continue to apply during short, unavoidable closures. If a closure lasts for more than three consecutive nursery days, we will review the arrangements and communicate clearly with families.
